Helpful Habits from God.

I have found that reading, praying and studying the Word of God is very important in the life of the Believer...There have been seasons it has been very difficult for me to do these things.  The flesh does not want to cooperate, and can be a obstacle to overcome....It can drive us away from the things of God if we allow it to.... the spirit yearns to go further in the things of the Spirit. We must be led and yield to the Spirit of the Living God...putting to death the deeds of the body. (flesh)

In the last 25 years I have learned to soak in Christian worship music.  That has been instrumental in the healing peace that has invaded my mind by bringing me into the throneroom of His grace. There is nothing like the anointing of the Holy Spirit ministering through the words of beautiful music bringing adoration of our GOD. I am sure it is a soothing aroma to God to put down the flesh and lift up Jesus. He abolished the sins of the body on the cross!

Not only that but the veil HAS been taken away! We can press through the veil of the flesh to know and receive more.... It is about cultivating a living relationship with Jesus face to face and literally craving to really know God...just like when a baby craves or longs for milk....these things draw us into having a closer relationship with God.  When we get older in God that craving should not diminish.  We should crave the literal meat of the word of God....

As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Hebrews 5:14

  1. I love Christian music also, Richard. I have worship music playing right now to keep positive, scriptural truths flowing into my spirit. Have you heard Bethel Music's song, "Reckless Love?" I'm obsessed with it. Such a powerful message. And yes, "It is about cultivating a living relationship with Jesus face to face." Amen! Blessings!
