Wrestling with The Devil.....

Like it or not, if  you are a Spirit-filled believer in Christ Jesus...You are in a spiritual war. The moment you made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life, you were girded up for battle with everything  you need to fight with to the finish defeating the devil and his minions!!!

God has given you the strength in Christ through the Holy Spirit to win the war. You see, the devil makes it his mission to make you "think" you are fighting a losing battle. On the contrary our sins died when Jesus died, and when Jesus was resurrected we too were resurrected we too were victorious triumphing over our enemies. You might be saying about right now, "I have no enemies."   Yes, you do! You have the devil and his demons to contend with!

We are in a spiritual wrestling match with Jesus Christ' arch-enemy...Lucifer himself, and he is not giving you any mercy!!!  If he is Jesus' enemy he is ours too as believers....The devil has brought out all the strong artillery...every past and present sin must be confessed and forgiveness, and cleansed by the blood of Jesus.... You name it, He will use it to pull you down and knock you out and keep you from fighting... You must contend, you must fight the fight of faith. Your soul weighs in the balance. YOU  must fight in your spirit  using your spiritual armor to put the devil in his place....If there is one thing a true CHristian is called to, it is to fight the unseen forces of this evil world!!

We cannot fight with our physical bodies, our flesh.  WE must be one with Jesus to maintain the complete victory.  THere will be many fights and victories in your lifetime....It's not by might, nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord Jesus inside us enabling us to have the victory.

Is Jesus number one in your life, sitting on the throne of your heart?  Dethroning selfish desires ultimately dethrones satan from your life!!! Jesus should be your number one priority, and thus all other priorities will be set in place.

I am here to tell you my sister and brother, Jesus defeated Lucifer on the cross. But that doesn't  mean you are supposed to set back and pretend that you got this beat. The devil is going to try to make you think that you don't have to fight.

I am writing to you so  you will be prepared. I have wrote about this on many occasions because it is important that you are running the race and winning the war for your soul.

Our weapons must be sharpened and in full use. Only by living in the Holy Spirit's leading and influence will you be able to standfirm in these last hours.

10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. 11 Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places13 Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. 14 So stand firm and hold your ground, having [b]tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart), 15 and having [c]strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news]. 16 Above all, lift up the [protective] [d]shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
18 With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all [e]God’s people.
Ephesians 6:10-18 AMP

Are you struggling in your walk with God? Are you winning or losing?

When He (JESUS) had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His triumphal procession], having triumphed over them through the cross. Colossians 2:15 AMP

14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 2 Cor. 2:14-15 NKJV
