A Cry in the Night-- Exhortation & Testimony
What it means is that He is moving things around; aligning situations and circumstances because He wants the best for you. You may not hear his voice or see that right now in your life in the flesh or in your physical surroundings.
Whether we care to admit it or not, there is a invisible and spiritual world around us. Jesus desires to bring us into His victory that He has set forth for us even when there seems to be no physical evidence of it. God is working in the invisible realm around us to bring our deliverance into the physical realm. He is not a "convenient-store" God catering to please our flesh...or get it when we want it. He has a order and a plan. We can set up a plan but it is ultimately He that directs our steps. In other words, He is in control of your life, there is no need to try to control you life or anyone else's.
Deliverance is readily available to us more than we realize if we truly desire it in our heart of hearts. He is looking for the prayers of the saints to set His plans into motion for VICTORY!! His angels are at his beckon call, and I believe that as saints of God we have that kind of authority as well. That's for another blog, but for now we are going to focus on you who are reading this...
We should not hesitate on asking for prayer. We should not hesitate to cry out to him with all our hearts. If that means falling on your knees in your house, or in a wheat field!!
I will never forget the summer of 2005. I thought I was stepping out in faith by getting off all my medicine. It backfired and I had isolated myself once again and relapsed mentally. I cannot divulge all the sorted details but I was hearing familiar voices telling me to end my life. It was if the voices were verbally badgering and bullying me with the evil intent trying to break my will...How do I know it, they told me!! I had had enough anguish. I remember early one morning while I was laying in bed wide awake, some how in my mental and spiritual agony, I cried out to God with everything that was within me. I didn't care how loud I was, or who heard me. I cried out in a loud voice for God's help to make the voices stop. I could not mentally take it anymore. Amidst all the turmoil that the voices caused, I heard a loud voice that said, "THAT'S ENOUGH, NO MORE." For some reason that voice calmed me down, and i learned very powerful truths that morning, but the most important one was praying heartfelt prayers. I went back to my psychiatrist which I had not seen in months and got back on my medicine, and was able to get some stability back into my life with out hearing voices.
I "chose" to divulge that part of my story to let you know that every heart-felt prayer is a very powerful weapon in God's hands. These were some extremes where God got my prayers desperate for Him at different points of my life.
I want you to also know that we all have our demons. You name it, there are just some of us who God has chosen and given us the courage to tell our story to help others. Just maybe some of us need help more than others. We could not find that freedom except hitting rock bottom and crying out for God's delivering hand!!
I do not care who you are, as long as you are alive you are either with God's army of with the dark forces of the devil... There is no riding the fence in this life. God's word says that If God be for me, who can be against me?
No matter what you are going through, it is okay to get prayer and to get others praying for you. Those prayers will reroute the host of heaven which are on your side. His angels are closer than you think, just because you do not see them doesn't mean they are not there in the spiritual realm.
When you are at the end of your rope, all He needs for you to do is cry out to Him. He is still behind the scenes hanging onto your every word to go forth into action for your situation to work out. Don't limit God or limit your prayers to Him. He really does hear you. God loves us so much He sent His son, Jesus and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. He didn't come to condemn us, but that we would choose to open our hearts today. Have you made that decision. Now is the time...
Keep looking...your deliverance is on the verge of being seen as the greatest weapon of testimony to God's amazing grace!!
Father in Heaven, help us keep our eyes humbly upon You. even when we do not see what is really going on around us. Help us to hold on to that hope that goes beyond the veil between the flesh and the spirit, as we lay our lives at Your feet of Jesus Christ. Hear our voice as we cry aloud to You, and help us get into that sacred place place of your amazing grace, where nothing will hinder us from praying to You with all our hearts. We open the door of our heart and ask you to live in us and work through us magnifying and glorifying your son..In Jesus' name we ask and pray, Amen.
Authors note: I wrote a fictional story in 2013 called "A Cry in the Night," which is based on my testimony in this exhortation. I will be posting it on this site when I submit this story. So look for it next. Some parts of this story are fiction but some parts are the truth.
