He will Lift You Up!!!

Imagine if you will, being in a muddy pit in your life.  It is so slimy that you are unable to even stand up.  You just keep slipping and sliding and they does not seem to be a way out. This could even relate to getting stuck in a vehicle for some of  us.

You realize you can never get out on your own. You need additional help to overcome the mess you have caused...but no one is in sight to help you out.  At time good intentional people just do not know how to help you when you really need it. Someone helped them but they cannot see to help you out of your pit of despair.

It would be nice if God Himself would supernaturally bend down scoop us up and wash us off and put us back where we should have been all along.

Actually He did do this by sending His son Jesus Christ to this earth, to die a cruel death so you could be saved. A lot of times we get our eyes on the things of this world, and the people around us can only go so far to help us. No other person except  Jesus, no other man can help the way He can.

At times God does send the right people along the way to help us. Yes, those are the ones who don'd mind getting a little dirty to come right where we are in our mess and lift us up out of that miry clay. Is not that what the Gospel is really all about? Helping those who cannot help themselves.

Psalms 40:2 says, "He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand."

God really does have enough grace to help, we have to trust and wait on Him to lift us out of that pic.

Do not give up! Keep seeking God,  Jesus will be that good Samaritan. Take hope and faith and be encouraged that help is on the way. Forgive those who have given up on you. God will cause your soul to sing, "I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence comes my help. My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth."  Psalms 121:1-2
