Catch That Vision For 2016!!

How many of you have New Years resolutions?  What it boils down to is "Do you have things in your life that need to change?"  Is any of our lives perfect? No, not one person on this earth is perfect. For we all have fallen short of the glory of God.  All of us have made mistakes, and all of us have chosen to do things we are not proud of...

If you think you have arrived, think again my friend. Just maybe one chapter is closed, and the next one is just starting.  The book will never be finished as long as you live on this earth. You can not only see changes but you can make them with the help of the strength of God's grace.

I am sure that there is those things that you would like to change or to see changed.  The word of God says that "Without a vision the people perish."  You have to "see those changes changed."  In other words, you need to "catch the vision of seeing yourself in faith living within that change..."  You have to see yourself changed in that imperfect area of your life making the changes and resolving to be diligent -- to "stay there in that place" where you have seen those changes.

But all too many times we fall back into old sinful habit patterns, that is what they truly are.  For the word of God states that if you know to do it, and do it not, then it is as a sin before the eyes of God.

I wonder though, how many of you have lost your vision?  Just possible you do not see things in a 20/20 vision like you once did. My prayer is that you allow Jesus to come into your life "so much" this next year, that you will draw closer to Him to change your life...You really need to refocus and allow the Holy Spirit to give you a vision that is bigger than yourself.   We need to really gaze into the eyes of our God and connect with Him in a greater measure.  There, my friend is the vision God desires to give you tonight.

However, many of our resolutions are to be thinner, or to read the Bible, or even to pray more...etc, etc, etc.  What if your resolution would just be to allow Jesus to change your perspective of who you are.  Who are you? Do you struggle daily with your identity?  Are you so sin-stained that you only see yourself as a undeserving sinner who will never change. I am here to tell you folks you can be washed, you can be renewed and cleansed of every sin by the blood of Jesus. Finding that place in God where you are washed in the blood of the Lamb... As you come near to the Spotless lamb of God who was slain for the sins of the world, you will be made whole where you have been broken by the weight of sin...

Are you so sin-sick that you never see your life changing? Are you so drunk on selfishness and the deceitfulness of sin in your every day life? Lay down your burdens and cast all your cares at the feet of Jesus.   Yes, leave them at his feet, and not the cross.  Only by the atonement of Jesus can we be wholly atoned for our sin, rescued from ourselves!!!

We can come to him by the grace of His blood.  The veil has been torn my  friends, so enter in and come to Jesus with your whole heart. Yes there He is. sitting at the right hand of the Father in Heaven.

Why not now? What are you waiting on? Tomorrow you may take your last breath. This is the day and this is the hour to die to self, and worship God will your whole soul, body, and Spirit!

"I hear that mighty shofar of God trumpeting across the land....He is assembling us for worship! Are you going to be there, or get left behind?" It is going to happen as you come to Jesus to make those changes you are unable to do. He will make them, as we prepare to come to the mountain to worship our Bridegroom...
